Transport
The overarching goal in the Transport area is to ensure the development of transport infrastructure and high-quality public transport services in the Czech Republic.
More about the area
Most of this expenditure is administered by the Ministry of Transport (99.2%). A significant part of these funds, however, is transferred to the State Fund for Transport Infrastructure (SFDI). The SFDI also administers off-budget funds, financed e.g. by toll revenue, excise duties or loans. The first chart shows state budget expenditure on transport over time. The following chart shows a consolidated view that also includes additional SFDI expenditure beyond state budget expenditure.
